1st Grade

First graders will be coming to school with a depth of academic and computer skills that will make them very productive in the computer lab this year. Beginning first graders are also invited to use some of the sites from the Kindergarten Games page to reinforce skills. They continue building upon their skills in Microsoft Office Word and we introduce them to Power Point as well. In addition, they spend time coding and using various Web 2.0 tools. First graders are becoming very independent now, needing supervision more than ever when using the computer and the Internet!
